One to One Training Sessions

Ideal for those dogs who require some basic training or are having trouble with a specific aspect of their training such as house training, loose lead walking, recalls, etc. This may also be appropriate for minor behaviour problems such as excessive activity and destructive chewing.

I will come to your home or meeting place of your choice and devise a specific training plan tailored to you and your dog's requirements.  Training sessions usually last between 1 - 1.5 hours.

New Dog Home Visit

If you are thinking about, or have recently adopted a new dog into your home, this is the session for you.

We'll cover all aspects of responsible dog ownership including essential basic training, appropriate nutrition and exercise, and anything else you would like to discuss.  These sessions often vary greatly depending on your new dog's age and previous experiences.  A new puppy, for example will be very different from a 3 year old rescue dog.

These sessions will usually last around 1.5 - 2 hours.

Behaviour Consultations

If your dog has a more complex problem, such as destructive behaviour, guarding of objects or territory, or perhaps a phobia or compulsive disorder, an in depth behaviour consultation is advised.  The aim of a behaviour consultation is to delve into your dog's behaviour and attempt to identify any triggers of the inappropriate or undesired behaviour.  From this information, i'll devise a treatment plan tailored to your specific circumstances which will help your dog overcome the issues.

If you are able to do so, I will often request that you video your dog's "problem" behaviour and send this to me before your consultation.

Your initial consultation will usually last around  2 - 3 hours and during this time I will complete a detailed assessment of your dog's behaviour, health, and history.  Depending on what the issue is, I will normally provide and demonstrate a few "management" techniques and training ideas which you can work on immediately to firstly stop the unwanted behaviour from arising and prevent your problem getting any worse.

Following your consultation I will then provide a written diagnosis of your dogs behaviour problem and a complete treatment plan for you to implement.

Contact Me today to discuss your specific requirements and arrange your Behaviour Consultation.

Please note that for all appointments / visits, any milage incured in excess of 10 miles (round trip) will be charged at £0.45 per mile.  This will be based on Google Maps postcode calculation.
